Current Pieces I’m Crushing on: TopShop

by
Yes I’ve been shopping online and yes I’ve compiled a new list of pieces I’m crushing on. But this time round we’ve gone up a price tag and spent a good couple of hours searching the TopShop website for some new goodies. I’m so bad for limiting where I look on online websites – I either go straight to the sale section or the New In section, there is no in between for me. I absolutely love TopShop and  it’s one of my favourites stores but I feel like I can’t just go in there whenever I like because the items are usually pricer than others shops. So consequently, there are quite a few items on this list.
Belted Peg Trousers (£25)

If you know me you’ll know that my obsession with yellow and mustard has got way out of hand. Everything I’m buying at the moment seems to be a yellow staple piece or something that has yellow in it. I think it’s such a nice transitional colour that you can wear in summer and autumn so you get twice as much wear out of your clothes. This high waisted pair of trousers would be perfect for a night out with a black crop top and heels or even with a pair of trainers for a more day time look.
Striped Horn Button Camisole Top (£5)

Jeans and a t shirt are such a standard day to day outfit for me when I go to work, so when it comes to the weekend I like to wear something cute and a little different if I’m going out (otherwise I’ll wear my pyjamas.) This cute cami top is the perfect staple top to wear with a pair of blue and a pair of trainers for a casual shopping trip outfit at the weekend or a BBQ while we have the last of the nice weather this year.
WIDE FIT Dallas Sandals (£29)

Leopard print is one of my favourite trends of all time. I’m such a fan of it that I’d even consider myself to be on the border of turning into Kat Slater. It’s such a bold yet simple look, it can turn a boring outfit into a show stopper. Pair these sandals with an all black outfit or a pair of white trousers and you’ve got yourself a winner. They’re just the right height that you could wear them for a day out shopping or even a night out if you’re not a fan of big heels.
Snake Print Pleated Shirt Dress (£49)

I first saw this dress in the window at the Topshop store at Oxford Circus and completely fell in love – and since then I’ve seen this dress all over Instagram. It’s such a classy dress you would wear casual with sandals or trainers but also style it with a pair of heels for an evening meal or drinks. I’m waiting for payday on Thursday before I get my hands on this because it’s absolutely gorgeous and need it in my collection asap.
Hattie Ankle Boots (£89)

I saw these boots on Sophie Milner’s Instagram last week and absolutely fell in love with them. I’m usually quite a boring person when it comes to boots, I own around 10 pairs of black boots because my logic is they’ll go with everything. But these boots are such a beautiful autumnal colour that I just need to have them. These would look amazing with a pair of blue jeans and a burgundy jumper or an all black outfit to add that little pop of colour.
Selina Snake Effect Cross Body Bag (£25)

You can tell there is a theme to prints I’m crushing on at the moment right? I’m loving all these animal printed. This gorgeous lime green/yellow cross body bag is the perfect day trip bag when you don’t want much to carry around with you. This little bag would fit your phone, purse, a few makeup essentials, your keys and that’s pretty much it! But that’s what I love because it means I can’t carry too much with me. This with a pair of black jeans, black turtleneck jumper, black boots and a black baker boy hat would look incredible for the autumn season.
But that is all I’m currently crushing on at Topshop at the moment! No doubt there will be more pieces to come in another blog post but the next store I have in store for you in this series is Bershka!
