Confident Cute Comfy London Looks

by
Whenever I know I’m going to London I spend quite a long time wondering what to wear. London is such a beautiful city full of individual and unique fashion so I like to make sure I feel confident, cute but comfortable.
Depending on what I’m doing usually determines what I wear. If I’m doing blog shoots then I tend to wear heeled boots because they’re comfortable to walk in but look fabulous in pictures – or if I’m spending the day sight seeing on wandering around exploring then I’ll wear trainers or vans.
I went to London on Saturday with Courtney from crtnyjrdnblog.com and we had a fun day hitting some of the prettiest spots in London taking photos for our blogs. I shot a few different looks while we were there and 2 of them I think are the perfect “confident, cute, comfy” looks to wear on a day out to London.

This vibrant jumper look brings a pop of colour to an otherwise plain outfit. This beautiful oversized jumper is from River Island and it’s shouting to me inner oversized jumper lover. Oversized jumpers go with near enough everything. They look amazing paired with a pair of faux leather trousers like I have, or a pair of jeans or slim leg tracksuit bottoms. They’re so versatile and a staple in the wardrobe.
The faux leather trousers I’m wearing are also from River IslandI’ve never owned a pair of trousers like this before and I’m in love with them. They’re such a nice alternative to denim because they’re a lot lighter and aren’t as tight which some people will prefer and find more comfortable.
For a more casual look you could pair this look with some plain black vans or converse but for me I chose my trusty black heeled Chelsea boots from New Look. It gives me a little bit more height and because they’re comfortable I feel sassy walking around London in heels.

Teddy bear coats are everywhere at the moment and I for one have grabbed onto the trend with both hands. I think the coats are to die for!! They look absolutely adorable and are incredibly warm, it’s the best of both worlds.
I wasn’t sure whether I would suit the style at first because I didn’t know if I was cool enough to rock it – but after buying this one from New Look I didn’t care. I loved how oversized it was but how it was slightly elasticated at the bottom to bring your silhouette back in.
A tan teddy bear coat probably isn’t the ideal colour you can wear with everything but it goes with most things in my wardrobe. For a casual day to day look I style mine with a pair of Topshop Joni Jeansa funnel turtle neck bodysuit and my chelsea boots.
For an even more casual London look I would love to pair this with a pair of distressed denim jeans, a white tshirt tied into a knot at the front and a pair of black and white vans – I think that would look dead cute.
