My Top 3 Starbucks Festive Drinks: Blogmas#2

I love a typical trip to Starbucks as much as the next person. I have tried many of their drinks because I am a coffee lover and like to find new drinks to add to my menu. As soon as it hits the Autumn/Winter season, Starbucks step up their game and bring out a whole range of new flavoured drinks, hot and cold, to treat your tastebuds.
I have a few favourites but I’ve managed to narrow it down to my top 3 – give them a go if you haven’t already!

This one is more for the Autumn season rather than Winter but no less it is still my favourite cold drink from Starbucks. I love a frappuccino, even through the Winter, because they leave me feeling refreshed and ready to take on the world. Not to mention I feel pretty sassy drinking it.
You can have it coffee based or cream based – I have mine with coffee to give me that caffeine boost but to also prevent it from being too sweet because the pumpkin spice is fairly sweet itself. BUT it is soooooo good. This is usually only available around Halloween time but some stores do still have them so you have to be on the witch hunt to find them!

Gingerbread is something I associate with Christmas all the time. Whenever I was younger, my family used to buy a gingerbread house decorating kit. The pre-made gingerbread walls and house would be stuck together with icing and my brother and I would use icing, smarties and jelly tots to decorate the house.
A latte is one of my favourite coffees and mixing it with a gingerbread flavouring is a dream. I was worried it’d be slightly bitter but it isn’t; it’s the perfect mixture of sweet and coffee and gives your morning a good head start!

This is the newest drink to make my list but it could possibly come a close second after the pumpkin spiced frappuccino. After my local Starbucks had run out of their pumpkin flavouring I asked them to recommend me another frappuccino flavour. And they picked gingerbread.
Unlike the latte, this gingerbread drink is very sweet and filling. It’s very Christmas and perfect for those of you who don’t like hot drinks and prefer a cold coffee. This frappuccino only comes on a coffee base I believe as I was not given the option for cream or coffee. But I’m sure if you ask the barrister they could make it cream based for you.
